1999 District Council Elections:-

The Panel would be opened on 21st March and closed on 1st September 1998

The selection procedure would involve the CLP Officers and District Party Officers and the Selection Panel would contain members from both

Ward Meeting would be organised for selection with quorum of members of the ward. If this was not achieved then any members of the Selection Executive would be invited to join the meeting and the meeting would be considered quorum for the purposes of selection. Only members resident in the ward and members since the Opening date for nominations would be able to vote in the selection process. Please note it is possible for the Executive to bring ten members and if a meeting is not quorum, e.g. 3 members, then there would be thirteen votes and the Executive would effectively decide the selection process
